Welcome to Peuteropvang Belhameltjes, part of Kober, located in the heart of the Belcrum district in Breda. Our small-scale centre offers a warm and safe environment for up to 16 children aged 2.5 to 4 years. We believe every child is unique and deserves to grow at their own pace. Our team of enthusiastic pedagogical staff takes the time to understand who your child is and what they need. From this foundation, we provide activities that match the developmental stage of toddlers. At Belhameltjes, we sing songs together, play language games, do arts and crafts, and regularly go outside to play. We stimulate children’s curiosity and give them space to discover, learn, and grow. Our activities focus on developing language, motor skills, and social abilities. We use early childhood education (VVE) to optimally prepare children who need extra support for primary school. A referral from the child health clinic is required for this. We believe it’s important for parents to be involved in their child’s development. Through the Parent App, we keep you updated daily with photos and messages, so you can stay connected to your child’s experiences.
