Beestenboel

Welcome to Beestenboel, our daycare centre located at Worsumseweg 1A in Overasselt. Everything we do revolves around being outdoors and outdoor play. Nature experience is central every single day: children feel raindrops and sunshine, smell flowers and discover cows, horses, bees and butterflies just a short walk from our farm. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 in a green, rural setting with spacious gardens and direct access to fields and forest. Structure and routine are important: fixed times for eating, sleeping and playing give calm and confidence. For babies under one year we follow the home rhythm as closely as possible. Theme-based activities—covering seasons, holidays, food or family—stimulate every developmental area through play. Until their first birthday we keep a daycare diary; after that each child receives a scrapbook with photos and crafts that goes home when they leave. Besides indoor sleeping rooms we have special outdoor cribs where children up to 2.5 years can nap safely in the fresh air. This boosts resistance and is especially helpful for children with asthma or allergies.
