Beertjes Burch

We are Beertjes Burch, a childcare centre operated by Junis Kinderopvang at Steekterweg 29 in Alphen aan den Rijn. Our after-school care (BSO) is part of a large, detached building with a spacious green playground full of possibilities. We provide care for children aged 4 to 12 and are there after school for fun, relaxation and challenge. Our pedagogical staff pick up the children on foot from the primary schools within walking distance. For schools that are a bit further away, we use our own (bicycle) vans or work together with a taxi company. This way all children arrive safely with us. We are open on weekdays from 14:00 to 18:30 and during holidays from 07:30 to 18:30. Outside you will find a football field and a basketball court where you can play and exercise. Inside we bake together, do crafts, build or read a book on the couch. Sometimes we also do an activity together with the day-care centre, so that the transition from day-care to after-school care does not feel like such a big change. We find it important that children feel at ease and can be themselves. Our location has room for a maximum of 33 children. We work with a fixed group of pedagogical staff who know the children well and give them the space to discover who they are. We believe in a safe and familiar environment where children can grow up, play and learn in their own way.
