BSO de Takkenbosse

BSO De Takkenbosse is located on the grounds of IKC De Takkenbosse at Roerdompsingel 6 in Numansdorp, right between primary schools De Bron and IKC De Takkenbosse. We provide before- and after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Our location features three cosy indoor play areas and a spacious outdoor playground with shade sails where children can run, climb and explore to their heart’s content. We work according to the principle of ‘free play with choice’. Every day we offer a variety of activities that are planned together with the children. One day this might be a craft workshop, the next a sports or nature activity. Children decide for themselves which activities they want to join; nothing is compulsory, everything is possible. Our pedagogical staff are on hand to guide, encourage and support whenever needed. We are open Monday to Friday, both mornings and afternoons. During school holidays we provide full-day holiday care, so parents can rely on us all year round. For children already attending IKC De Takkenbosse or De Bron primary school, the transition to BSO is literally just a few steps away. We pick the children up from school and bring them back, giving parents peace of mind while they work. At BSO De Takkenbosse we believe it is important that children feel safe and free. We offer a homely environment with room for personal initiative, relaxation and fun. Together with parents we create a warm community in which every child can develop at his or her own pace.
