Bastion

BSO Het Bastion is part of Humankind and is located at Het Bijvank 103 in Enschede. The after-school care is integrated within the Integral Child Centre (IKC) in the Wesselerbrink district. We provide care Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30. Our pedagogical staff collect children from school and accompany them to the premises. The youngest children are always picked up; if necessary we use transport by car, minibus or taxi. Groups are mixed-age (4-13 years) and consist of up to twenty children supervised by two pedagogical staff members. For children aged 8-13 the group may include thirty children with an additional back-up adult. We are also open on teacher training days and study days; the programme is then adjusted to the number of registrations and may take place at an alternative location.
