BSO Het Spectrum

BSO Het Spectrum is part of IKC Het Spectrum, an integral child center in the Nesselande district where education and childcare come together. Our after-school care location is situated at Robert van ’t Hoffstraat 30 in Rotterdam and provides care for children aged 4 to 12. We work closely with primary school Het Spectrum, allowing children to move directly after school to a familiar environment where they feel safe and secure. At BSO Het Spectrum, play and discovery are central. Our pedagogical staff provide a warm and challenging environment where children can choose from various activities. We regularly organize sports and creative activities, such as crafts, drawing and outdoor play in our spacious garden. In addition, we make trips to the surroundings, for example to the park or cultural locations in the city. For the older children we offer workshops and they can do homework under supervision. Our BSO is open from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, 52 weeks a year, with the exception of national holidays. We offer before-school care from 7:30 AM, after-school care until 6:30 PM and holiday care with a varied program. Upon arrival, there is always something tasty to eat and drink ready. We work with small groups and fixed pedagogical staff, so that we can give each child personal attention. As a parent, you can count on clear communication and involvement. We regularly inform you about your child's development and the activities of the day. Together with you, we create a safe and stimulating environment in which your child can develop optimally.
