Goudakker

BSO Goudakker is a small-scale and welcoming after-school care facility located in the Korte Akkeren district of Gouda, housed within De Goudakker primary school at Reigerstraat 37. We provide out-of-school care for children aged 4 to 12 who attend De Goudakker or other nearby primary schools. Our setting includes two spacious, homely rooms inside the school building and a dedicated playroom. Each afternoon session begins with a drink and a healthy snack at the table, giving children a moment to unwind and share their school day. After that, they are free to choose how to spend their leisure time. We offer a varied programme of activities tailored to age and interest: outdoor sports and games on the school playground, arts and crafts, board games, or simply relaxing with a book. Free play is valued just as much as organised activities. We work with monthly themes that connect to the school’s curriculum, ensuring a seamless link between education and childcare. During school holidays we are open all day from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm and adapt the programme to a holiday rhythm, making full use of the playground and surrounding play areas. Our approach is guided by the Pedagogisch Hart framework of Kind & Co Ludens. We create a safe, stimulating environment where every child feels at home. Our qualified staff provide attentive support, encourage curiosity and foster social development. Children grow in confidence and social skills while simply enjoying their free time.
