Welcome to Base Kinderopvang, a safe and intimate daycare located in the heart of Zaandam. We provide small-scale childcare for up to 18 children aged 0–4 years, divided into two horizontal groups: one for babies and one for toddlers. This structure ensures that every child receives the attention and developmental stimulation appropriate to their age. Our centre on Czaar Peterstraat is open 51 weeks a year; we are closed only on official Dutch public holidays. A consistent team of qualified pedagogical staff offers stability and trust. Our approach is guided by our own pedagogical policy plan, which focuses on safety, security and development. Daily care items are included: nappies, wipes, formula and all necessary care products. Children enjoy organic hot meals, fresh fruit and healthy snacks, with allergies carefully managed. Our enclosed garden gives children daily outdoor play and fresh air. Parental involvement is key. During the intake interview we discuss your child’s home routine and maintain close communication about your child’s progress. Together we prepare your little one for the big world!
