Baloe Peuteropvang

Peuteropvang Baloe is located on the ground floor of primary school Willem Wilmink at Hendrik Smeltweg 44 in Enschede. We provide care for children aged 2 to 4 years in two small, manageable groups of up to 16 children per day. Our groups follow the VVE programme ‘Sporen’, which focuses on language, numeracy and social development. Every morning starts with a joint moment: we sing, tell or read a story together. Afterwards the children can choose from different corners: a construction corner, a home corner, a reading corner and a creative corner. We work with themes such as ‘animals’, ‘the forest’ or ‘traffic’. Twice a week we use the primary school’s gym for toddler gym. Our team consists of permanent, qualified pedagogical staff who offer the same familiar face every day. This provides calm and recognition. Parents receive photos and short messages about the day via our Parent App. We are open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings from 08:30 to 12:30. During school holidays the toddler care is closed.
