Welcome to Babino Peuteropvang In ’t Veld, located at Herderinstraat 1 in the heart of Zaandam. We provide a warm, safe place where children aged 2 to 4 can grow and discover through play while being gently prepared for primary school. Our site works closely with OBS In ’t Veld and OBS Hannie Schaft to ensure a seamless learning line. Small-scale care and personal attention are our trademarks. With only 16 places, every child has room to be themselves. Our experienced pedagogical staff put each child in the spotlight, tailoring activities to the needs of both the group and the individual. The atmosphere is calm and nurturing; anyone who steps into our group is immediately embraced by a sense of cleanliness and security. We use the VVE programme Piramide Digitaal. All staff are trained in this method, allowing us to offer language development and other skills in a playful, structured way. Singing is an integral part of our day: we sing often with the children, which is not only fun but also boosts language development. We also have a vegetable garden. The children help sow, tend and harvest. They watch plants grow, learn where food comes from and, of course, taste the fruits of their labour. In this way they experience nature up close and develop respect for their environment. Our opening hours are flexible: you can choose a morning or afternoon session. We are open Monday to Friday from 8:00 – 12:00 and Monday to Thursday from 12:30 – 16:30. Feel free to drop by for a tour or register your child directly via our online form.
