Babino Kinderopvang de Caleidoscoop

Welcome to Babino BSO De Caleidoscoop, located at Hammarskjöldstraat 230 in Hoofddorp. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13 in a homely and stimulating environment. Our BSO is part of an integrated child centre (IKC) together with primary school De Caleidoscoop. This means we work closely with the school based on one vision, one team and one plan. Children can seamlessly transition from daycare to primary school and then to our after-school care, already familiar with the location and our dedicated pedagogical staff. Our after-school care consists of one base group called 'De Duikers', accommodating up to 20 children. The space is arranged with various challenging corners, such as a home corner and construction area. There is ample material available for creative activities as well as for playing games together. In the hallway, children can retreat or engage in free play. For sports activities, we use the school gymnasium and enjoy outdoor play on the spacious school playground. Each day we offer an activity tailored to the children's interests, such as cooking lunch, sports and games, creative activities, and regular outings to places like the forest, a playground or bowling alley. During school holidays, we create an exciting and varied activity programme, including one or more excursions. Additionally, there is always plenty of space to simply relax and do your own thing, as after-school time is also children's free time. Our opening hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 7.00 am to 6.30 pm. With sufficient enrolment, we are also open on Wednesday and Friday. We work with a dedicated team of pedagogical staff who know the children and parents well, creating a safe, warm environment where every child feels at home.
