Babino KDV Westzaan

Welcome to Babino KDV Westzaan, our small-scale daycare centre located at Kerkstraat 2 in the quiet town of Westzaan. We provide care for up to 25 children aged 0 to 4 years in two separate groups: a baby group and a toddler group. These two groups are located next to each other and are separated by large windows and a hallway. Each group has its own space where children can play in different play corners. In the baby group, there is a separate playpen for the youngest babies where they can play quietly. Because our location is small-scale and the groups are next to each other, there is intensive contact between both groups. This creates a sense of involvement and trust for both the children and parents as well as for our pedagogical staff. Every baby has their own rhythm, which we follow individually. Toddlers, on the other hand, have a shared rhythm throughout the day. We believe it's important for children to play outside frequently. The adjacent outdoor playground is used by both the baby and toddler groups. While children can have fun here on bikes and in the sandbox, we often take the children out. We walk with the pushcart to various playgrounds in the neighbourhood or to the toddler playground of Peuteropvang Westzaan. Inside, both groups often engage in arts and crafts based on different themes that change according to the seasons and holidays. All this playing makes the children hungry, of course. We provide varied meals: fruit in the morning and vegetables in the afternoon. A warm meal is offered at lunchtime, in collaboration with Apetito. The meals are adapted to the different ages of the children. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
