At Babino KDV Herman Gorter in Zaandam, we provide daycare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a warm and safe environment. Our location is situated in the recently renovated building of primary school Herman Gorter at Burgemeester Smitstraat 2A. As part of an integrated child center (IKC), we work closely with the school, offering children a continuous developmental line from baby to toddler. We operate one vertical group where children of different ages play and learn together. The space is equipped with various play corners tailored to the world of young children. In addition to the indoor area, children can use their own outdoor playground, specially designed for the youngest ones. For the very youngest, there is even a separate outdoor playpen where they can play safely. Our pedagogical team guides children using the VVE program Piramide Digital. This program offers a wide range of development-oriented activities that align with seasonal themes and the experiences of young children. We stimulate the development of language, motor skills, and social abilities through play, stories, crafts, and exploring nature. Children are offered varied meals at our facility. In the morning, we serve fruit and in the afternoon vegetables as healthy snacks. At lunchtime, a warm meal is provided in collaboration with Apetito, tailored to the different ages of the children. We pay great attention to healthy nutrition and table manners. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
