Babino KDV de Jagersplas

Welcome to Babino KDV de Jagersplas, located in OBS De Jagersplas at Brasemermeer 23b in Zaandam. We provide daycare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a warm, safe environment. As part of an integrated child center (IKC), we work closely with the primary school, ensuring a smooth transition for children when they move on to primary education. Our daycare facility features two horizontal groups: one for children aged 0-2 years and one for children aged 2-4 years. Each group has its own space within the school building, equipped with various play corners and learning materials. Our youngest children find peace in our baby corner, while toddlers and preschoolers can play in the construction corner, reading corner, or creative corner. Outside, children can play in our beautiful nature playground, complete with a chicken coop, vegetable garden, playhouse with slide, sandbox, and a cycling path. Here, children learn about nature through play while developing their motor skills. During bad weather, we use the school's gymnasium for physical activities. We work with the VVE program Piramide Digital, which prepares children for primary school through play. Our pedagogical staff provide daily activities tailored to your child's developmental stage, including reading aloud, singing, crafting, and nature exploration. For meals, we collaborate with Apetito. In the morning we serve fresh fruit, in the afternoon healthy vegetables, and around lunchtime a warm meal adapted to your child's age. This ensures healthy and varied nutrition for all children. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM. We believe personal attention is very important and therefore work with fixed pedagogical staff per group. This gives your child the familiar faces and attention they deserve.
