Babino BSO Hannie Schaft

Welcome to Babino BSO Hannie Schaft, our largest after-school care location in Zaandam. We provide care for up to 66 children aged 4 to 13 years. Together with OBS Hannie Schaft we form an integral child center (IKC) where everyone works from one vision, one team and one plan. Children are cared for in three basic groups. The 'Blue Seahorse' is the basic group for the youngest children. This space offers challenging play corners and materials. In the main hall of the school are the 'Yellow Starfish' and 'Green Sea Turtle', where children can play with different building materials, do crafts or play games together. For outdoor play we use the two schoolyards with playground equipment, a football cage and bicycles. Every day we offer an activity, but there is also plenty of space to relax and do your own thing. During holidays we organize a challenging activity program including cooking, sports and games, creative activities and excursions to the forest, playground or bowling alley. Children are picked up from school by our pedagogical staff or drivers. We pick up on foot, by bicycle, with the cargo bike or by car, depending on distance and school times. Safety is always paramount during transport. Our opening hours are: before-school care from 7:00 AM until school starts, after-school care from end of school until 6:30 PM, and holiday care/study days from 7:00/8:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
