Babino BSO De Oranje Nassau (bovenbouw)

Welcome to Babino BSO De Oranje Nassau (upper level), located on the ground floor of the Christian Primary School Oranje Nassau at Burgemeester Amersfoordtlaan 61 in Badhoevedorp. We provide after-school care for up to 30 children aged 4 to 13. As part of an Integral Child Centre (IKC) we work closely with the primary school, so children can move straight from their classroom into a familiar setting after lessons end. Our qualified pedagogical staff collect pupils from grades 4 to 8 and guide them to our bright, spacious BSO room. The layout is tailored to older primary-school children: quiet-play corners, construction areas with LEGO and Kapla, a creative table with various materials, and a chill zone with books and board games. Being inside the school building means we can use the gym on rainy days and the school playground with climbing frames and football pitch when the weather is fine. We follow the Babino quality framework that encourages children’s own initiative, social skills and relaxation after a busy school day. Children choose from a range of activities such as crafts, cooking, sport and games. During school holidays we run themed weeks like ‘Expedition Robinson’, ‘Cooking Studio’ or ‘TechLab’, drawing on parents’ expertise and external partners from the neighbourhood.
