Avonturijn (Integraal) Kindcentrum Avonturijn Wichmond

Kindcentrum Avonturijn Wichmond is located inside primary school De Garve at Dorpsstraat 19 in the green village of Wichmond. Together with the school we have formed an Integral Child Centre (IKC) since 2014, where childcare and education flow seamlessly into each other. For children aged 0 to 4 we provide day-care (KDV) in a familiar environment where everyone knows each other. Our KDV group is registered under LRK number 174173349 and offers places for up to 16 children. We work with fixed sessions that parents can schedule weekly: a full day from 07:30–18:00 (10½ hours) or a half-day from 07:30–12:45 or 12:45–18:00 (5¼ hours). Extended care is also possible from 07:00–07:30 and from 18:00–18:30. Extra sessions can be requested incidentally via our parent portal Konnect. Because we are housed in the same building as primary school De Garve, children can later move on effortlessly to toddler care, the play-and-learn group or after-school care without leaving the familiar place and faces behind. Avonturijn’s pedagogical staff work closely with De Garve’s teachers, creating one continuous developmental line in a safe and recognisable pedagogical climate.
