Avonturiers Lelystad

Avonturiers Lelystad is a warm and homely daycare centre located at Jol 24-53 in Lelystad. We provide care for children from approximately 2 months to 4 years old in a safe, familiar environment where every child is given the space to discover themselves and the world around them. Our small, permanent team of pedagogical staff is ready every day to welcome your child with care and love. We work according to the Uk & Puk method, a comprehensive programme that centres on play. All activities are tailored to your child's developmental stage and stimulate speech and language skills, social-emotional skills, motor and sensory skills, and provide the first numeracy stimuli. Playing is discovering and playing is growing. By being actively engaged and playing happily, babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers learn new skills in a playful way. Each child has a fixed mentor who closely monitors their development. We report developmental milestones at fixed intervals using the Uk & Puk observation checklists: at 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, 3.5 years and just before your child starts primary school. In this way, we lay a solid foundation for primary education. Parents are our partners in upbringing. You know your child best. That is why we work with a parent portal where you can indicate special circumstances and read back how your child's day went. In addition, we value personal contact highly. We are always open for a chat or consultation. We offer both regular and flexible childcare from Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 18:30. We advise parents to take at least one day or 2 half-days per week, so that children feel safe and familiar more quickly and adapt to the group more easily.
