Peuteropvang Arendsboerweg is part of Stichting Humankind and is located within De Egbertus primary school at Arendsboerweg 5 in Almelo. We provide a safe and stimulating environment for children aged 2 to 4 years, where they can play, explore, and develop. Our close collaboration with the primary school allows us to offer activities that perfectly prepare children for the transition to primary education. Our classroom is cozy and inviting, ensuring your child feels secure from the moment they arrive. We have various play corners equipped with materials that match the world of toddlers. Additionally, we use the school's gymnasium for weekly movement activities in partnership with Fit & Fun. These activities support motor development while encouraging social interaction and cooperation. Outdoor play is an essential part of our daily routine. We have access to a safe outdoor area where children can cycle, run, and engage in adventurous play. This natural environment contributes to sensory development and builds children's confidence. We go outside every day because outdoor play is crucial for toddlers' development. Our internal supervisor specializes in early childhood education (VVE) and supports children in their language and speech development. We use a Parent App to keep parents informed about their child's development and daily activities. This keeps parents involved in their child's well-being and progress. We take pride in preparing children well for primary school. Through our collaboration with De Egbertus primary school, we offer activities that align with school readiness skills. We promote children's independence and provide them with space to develop at their own pace.
