Aquamarijn

Welcome to daycare Aquamarijn, a small-scale childcare facility for children aged 0 to 4 located at Biezendwarsstraat 33 in Nijmegen. We are part of Kindcentrum Aquamarijn and work closely with KION, ensuring seamless integration between childcare and education. Our qualified staff give each child the individual attention they deserve. Every day we offer fun and challenging activities both indoors and outdoors. We regularly use the gymnasium, as physical activity is central to our approach. Exercise is not only healthy but also essential for brain development, motor skills and building self-confidence. Above all, it’s great fun. Our beautiful new building features French doors opening onto an enclosed garden. The garden is designed with natural materials and age-appropriate play areas where children can safely explore the world and enjoy outdoor play. We also offer outdoor sleeping so children can benefit from fresh air. We operate a vertical group structure: children from 0 to 4 years are together in one group. This promotes social development and peer learning. Younger children observe toddler activities, while toddlers learn to interact with babies. This creates a homely, familiar atmosphere where every child feels safe and valued. We provide Early Childhood Education (VVE) to stimulate language and social development, ensuring children make a strong start in primary school. When children transition from our daycare to primary school, we facilitate a warm handover between parents, teachers and childcare staff. In short, at daycare Aquamarijn we offer a safe, familiar environment where children can develop optimally through play, movement and discovery.
