Anne Frank

Out-of-school care Anne Frank is located in the public primary school Anne Frank in Kanaleneiland Noord, Utrecht. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 years in a familiar school environment. Children can play and participate in fun activities in a space we share with the toddler care. Our childcare professionals work according to the Pedagogical Heart of Kind&co ludens. This means we give children the space to be themselves and discover what they enjoy. We believe that playing and having fun forms the basis for development. Therefore, we offer a daily activity program where children can choose what they want to do. Our activities are developed around various themes and include arts, sports, music and technology. Children can choose from a craft, cultural or sports/game activity, but free play is of course also allowed. We find outdoor play and movement very important. That's why we play outside in our large playground and outdoor space every day when possible. The location has a gym where children can move and play. The continuous line between education and care ensures that children quickly feel at home in our familiar environment. We work closely with primary school Anne Frank, ensuring a smooth transition from school time to care time. During school holidays we are open from 7:30 to 18:30, so parents can also rely on us during holidays.
