Amira kindercentrum

Welcome to Amira kindercentrum, located in a quiet area of the Boerejonkerbuurt in Zaandam. Our daycare is part of Amira Kindercentrum Zaandam B.V. and provides care for up to 46 children aged 0 to 4 years. We operate four groups: two baby groups, a toddler group and a vertical group. Our qualified pedagogical staff receive regular training in paediatric first aid, emergency response and our baby group staff are certified baby specialists. At Amira kindercentrum we believe it is important that children and parents feel safe and secure. Daily we offer various activities to bring out the best qualities in each child. We work with the bi-monthly themes of Uk & Puk, giving full attention to creativity while adapting activities to each child's age and developmental stage. Our internal reading coordinator supports pedagogical staff with reading and language activities. She focuses on multilingualism within the daycare and visits each group monthly for interactive reading sessions. We consider proper nutrition essential - our group assistant prepares daily warm meals and snacks following guidelines from the Netherlands Nutrition Centre. Parents stay informed through our periodic newsletter with updates about the daycare centre.
