Aldeboarn

We are childcare Aldeboarn, part of Stichting Kinderopvang Friesland, located in the village house De Jister at Skoallereed 2 in the heart of Aldeboarn. Every child feels at home with us right away. Our spaces are playfully decorated and we have a lovely garden where children experience new adventures every day. We work with vertical groups, so children aged 0 to 4 play together and learn from each other. Every day we try to make it an unforgettable day. We do this with a wide range of activities that match the age and interests of the children. They can cook and bake with us, do crafts with different materials, or simply enjoy playing in our challenging play corners. We believe it's important for children to spend a lot of time outdoors. That's why we not only use our own garden, but also the school playground around the corner. We regularly make trips in and around Aldeboarn, where we discover nature and get to know the surroundings. As a certified bilingual childcare center, we work in both Dutch and Frisian. We offer many language activities to optimally stimulate the bilingual development of children. This not only strengthens their language sense, but also their social and cognitive development. We work according to our pedagogical work plan in which we describe how we approach this and how we follow and stimulate the development of each child. We are there for all families in Aldeboarn and the surrounding area. Whether you need full-day care or just a morning or afternoon, we are happy to think along with you.
