AKROS Voorschool De Roos

Welcome to Voorschool De Roos at Reinier Claeszenplein 12 in Amsterdam West, De Baarsjes. We provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 years in a safe and familiar environment. Our goal is to work together with parents to create optimal development opportunities for every child. As part of AKROS, a social organization under Groep Maatschappelijke Kinderopvang (GMK), we have been working intensively with schools, the neighborhood, and the municipality for over 30 years. We are a partner within IKC West and offer affordable childcare of good quality and accessibility. Our dedicated pedagogical staff members commit themselves every day with heart and soul to the children. We believe in a peaceful pedagogical approach where every child feels seen and heard. Our preschool focuses specifically on toddlers aged 2 to 4 years. We work with a clear horizontal group structure, where children come together in age groups. This ensures targeted development and attention to the specific needs of this age group. We provide preschool education (VVE), focusing on language development and social skills. Our activities are designed for playful learning and preparing for primary school. We find it important to be a partner in parenting for parents. We support children and their parents in positive development and offer accessible contact. With us, you can count on accessible support and guidance.
