AKROS voorschool de Meidoorn

Welcome to AKROS Preschool De Meidoorn located at Chasséstraat 59 in Amsterdam West. We are part of the social organization AKROS, active for over 30 years in Amsterdam West with childcare and community projects. Our mission is to offer every child optimal development opportunities in a safe, homely environment. At Preschool De Meidoorn we provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 years. We use the Early Childhood Education (VVE) program Puk & Ko, which aligns seamlessly with primary school methods. Through themed activities and playful learning we prepare your child for a smooth transition to primary school. Your child learns to talk and listen, make friends and interact with peers, making the move to primary school much more natural. Our preschool is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM, so half-day care is possible. We work closely with the 10th Montessori School De Meidoorn and other nearby schools. Our dedicated childcare professionals are ready every day with heart and soul to give your child a wonderful place to play, learn and grow.
