AKROS BSO Vrije Tijds Centrum

Welcome to AKROS BSO Vrije Tijds Centrum, located at Van Speijkstraat 65A in Amsterdam. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 in a homely and safe environment. Our dedicated team of pedagogical staff picks the children up from nearby primary schools after classes and accompanies them to our centre. At Vrije Tijds Centrum we believe every child should feel free to be themselves. We embrace an open and diverse attitude in which all cultures and beliefs are welcome. Our pedagogical approach is rooted in peaceful coexistence: children learn to respect one another and are given every opportunity to play, explore and grow at their own pace. The site features a huge natural playground where children can run wild. We also organise sports and games, offer homework support and provide plenty of room for free play. During school holidays and study days we run an extended holiday programme packed with fun and educational activities. We work closely with local schools and are part of AKROS Kinderopvang, active in Amsterdam West for more than 30 years. Parents can count on accessible, low-threshold contact with us.
