Aja Kabaja

Welcome to Aja Kabaja daycare, located at Cordell Hullplaats 1 in Rotterdam-Ommoord. As the oldest daycare centre in this neighbourhood, we have been providing trusted, professional childcare for children aged 0–4 for many years. The centre has a capacity of 96 places and is organised into horizontal groups: babies from 2 months up to about 16 months are cared for in two dedicated baby groups, while toddlers are placed in separate toddler groups. Every day our in-house professional cook prepares a fresh, warm and healthy lunch. Children often surprise their parents by happily eating everything, including vegetables they refuse at home. Diapers and meals are included in our service. For babies we follow the home rhythm as closely as possible; you can supply formula or expressed breast milk and we take care of the rest. Play and development go hand in hand. We work with broad themes such as occupations, seasons and holidays. Activities include crafts, singing, dancing and role-play, balanced with quiet moments in our separate sleep rooms. Whenever staffing allows, we organise short outings to, for example, the puppet theatre at the local library or a nearby playground. Parents stay informed through our parent app, OuderKonnekt, which provides messages about meals, care and activities, and—if permission is given—photos of your child. We also host viewing mornings, send theme newsletters and schedule parent conversations to ensure home and daycare are perfectly aligned. Our doors are open from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Free parking is available right outside and metro stop Romeynshof is within walking distance.
