Agrarische Kinderopvang Reggekrummel

Reggekrummel is a professional daycare center located on a real farm in the hamlet of Giethmen, municipality of Ommen. We provide care for up to 32 children aged 0 to 4 years in two horizontal groups: a baby/toddler group (0-2.5 years) and a preschool group (2.5-4 years), each accommodating sixteen children. The ground floor of our farm is specially designed for the youngest children. Here we create a homely atmosphere with a large living room where children feel safe and secure. Our agricultural childcare combines professional daycare with the richness of farm life. Children get to know animals, the vegetable garden and the changing seasons on a daily basis. We apply a green pedagogical approach and are supported in this by VAK (United Agricultural Childcare). The natural environment offers endless opportunities for discovery and learning. Children can help care for animals, plant and harvest seeds, and enjoy the fresh outdoor air on our spacious farm. Machteld, together with her husband André and their two sons Hugo and Lucas, runs this special childcare location. With over 20 years of experience in healthcare as a nurse and many years of experience as a childminder, Machteld ensures a safe and stimulating environment. We believe it is important for children to come into contact with farm life and learn where food comes from. Our location has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since August 17, 2020 under number 568421048 and offers preschool education (VE).
