Agrarische Kinderopvang Het Groene Spoortje

Agrarische Kinderopvang Het Groene Spoortje is an after-school care (BSO) located on a working poultry farm at Broekdijk 30a in Hulten, North Brabant. Children aged 4–12 spend their out-of-school hours in the heart of the countryside, surrounded by animals, vegetable gardens and wide open space. Our programme is built around outdoor discovery. Children put on boots and overalls to explore the barn, feed chickens, cuddle new-born chicks and follow the growth of potatoes, strawberries and sunflowers in our kitchen garden. Produce is harvested and taken inside to be turned into soup, jam or salads in our farm kitchen, or transformed into creative art projects in the studio. We follow a child-centred pedagogical approach: we nurture each child’s curiosity and give them room to take initiative. Groups are small (max. 22 children per session) and led by familiar, qualified staff who know every child personally. Operating hours are Monday–Friday, 07:15–18:15, all year round except official public holidays. Parents are welcome to visit during one of our regular information mornings. Starting at 10:00 with a short presentation and guided tour, these sessions offer an informal opportunity to experience the atmosphere of Het Groene Spoortje first-hand.
