Agrarisch Kinderdagverblijf Koekeloeren

Welcome to Agrarisch Kinderdagverblijf Koekeloeren, located at Lage Horst 1c in Groesbeek. Since 31 July 2023 we have been open, offering small-scale childcare on a real working farm. Our family—William, Carlijn and our three sons Sam, Max and Moos—lives on the premises. William runs the farm together with his father Martien and takes care of all the cows. Carlijn studied pedagogical sciences, completed teacher training and worked in education for many years; she heads the daily management of the daycare. Our childcare centre consists of two vertical groups, named ‘Kalfjes’ and ‘Koetjes’, where children aged 0 to 4 play and learn together. Each group welcomes a maximum of 14 children, giving us a total of 32 places. The unique combination of farm and childcare allows children to grow up with animals and nature. Through play they learn about farm life, help care for the animals and discover what the seasons bring. We believe in a safe, homely environment where every child can develop at his or her own pace. Being outdoors is central: our spacious garden and the farm itself form one large play and learning area. Children have all the room they need to explore, build, run and, of course, meet the cows, chickens and other farm animals. At Koekeloeren everything revolves around fun, calm and personal attention. We work with a close-knit team of dedicated childcare professionals who truly know every child.
