Welcome to Agrarisch kinderdagverblijf Kakelbont, located at Boompjesdijk 11 in Dinteloord. We are part of Zorghoeve Kakelbont B.V. and have been providing childcare since September 2021 in a unique rural setting. Our daycare is situated on a former poultry and fruit farm that has been transformed into a vibrant care farm where children from 10 weeks to 4 years old can develop in an environment full of peace, space, nature and animals. For us, it's all about combining care and education in an agricultural environment. The children get to know farm life on a daily basis: they help in the vegetable garden, learn to take care of animals and discover the seasons through direct contact with nature. The apples and pears that are still grown on our land are part of this experience. Interaction with animals and the outdoors provides a natural stimulus for young children's development. Our location is GGD certified and works with age groups (horizontal groups), where babies, toddlers and preschoolers are cared for in separate groups. This provides a safe and development-oriented environment that meets the specific needs of each age phase. The pedagogical staff are specially trained to provide the unique combination of rural upbringing and professional childcare.
