Peuterspeelgroep de Krullevaar

Peuterspeelgroep de Krullevaar is a welcoming playgroup located at Weemeweg 14 in Oosterwolde. We are part of Stichting Scala, an organisation that has been dedicated to education, development and wellbeing in the municipality of Ooststellingwerf for over 40 years. Our small-scale setting offers space for up to 16 children per day, creating a safe and familiar environment for toddlers to play and grow. We are open five days a week, Monday through Friday, from 08:30 to 14:00. Our group is designed for children aged 2 to 4 years. We follow a consistent daily rhythm and offer a thematic programme based on the Puk method. Each week centres around a new theme – such as seasons, animals or transport – and we provide activities like singing, dancing, arts and crafts, story time and group play. Children are encouraged to explore, experiment and play together at their own pace. Pre-school education (VE) is an integral part of our approach. We focus on the broad development of every child, with special attention to language, speech and social skills. Our qualified staff are experienced in guiding toddlers and create a warm, stimulating learning environment. We maintain close collaboration with primary school De Krullevaar, ensuring a smooth and familiar transition to kindergarten. Outdoor play is just as important as indoor activities. Our garden offers plenty of space to run, cycle, build sandcastles or simply enjoy active play. We believe it is essential that children feel safe and free to move, allowing them to be themselves and develop at their own speed. In short, Peuterspeelgroep de Krullevaar is a place where toddlers can play, grow and learn with joy. We provide a warm home, experienced guidance and a rich variety of activities tailored to the world of 2- to 4-year-olds.
