Peuteropvang De Rakkertjes

Peuteropvang Rakkertjes is located at Haaselt 3 in Landgraaf and is part of Flow Kinderopvang. We welcome children aged 2 to 4 in a homely, safe environment that invites play and discovery. Our spacious group room is divided into play corners such as a home corner, construction corner, arts & crafts corner and sand table. In addition, we have a natural playground with climbing equipment, a water pump and tree trunks, where children can go outside every day. We follow the Early Childhood Education programme ‘Speelplezier’. Through recognisable themes that match the children’s world of experience, we offer language, numeracy, motor skills and social skills in a playful way. Our pedagogical staff are trained in Early Childhood Education and observe each child to identify developmental delays at an early stage and provide extra guidance where necessary. Cooperation with primary school De Speurneus – located in the same building – ensures a smooth transition to the reception class. We align themes, organise joint activities and exchange information during four coupling meetings per year. A fixed daily structure provides the children with stability: we start with a circle time, after which the toddlers choose where they want to play using choice cards. In between, we enjoy healthy fruit or vegetables and a small snack. Everything is recorded in the Parent Portal: parents receive photos and messages via the app and can follow a diary themselves. Nappies are included and we take dietary requirements such as vegetarian or halal into account.
