Welcome to KDV De Pionier Op Stoom, our warm and homely daycare centre located at Floraronde 293 in the heart of Velserbroek. We are part of Holland Op Stoom B.V. and provide care for up to 44 children aged 0 to 4 at this location. With us, freedom of movement and choice are key: whether your child explores the world sliding on their tummy, rolling across our soft carpet, crawling or already happily walking – it makes no difference. The atmosphere is cosy and delightfully quirky, just like a second home should be. The outdoors is at least as important as the indoors. Even when it drizzles we head outside together. Using our cargo bike we make joint trips to playground Santpoort or visit the Zorgvrij petting farm. Nature is our extended playground; there every child can decide for themselves who to play with and what to play with. We believe this freedom is the engine for self-confidence and social development. KDV De Pionier is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Each morning our pedagogical staff are ready with a smile and a listening ear. We work in clear, horizontal groups so that every child receives the attention they deserve.
