BSO Uithuizermeeden

Welcome to BSO Uithuizermeeden, part of Stichting Goud. We provide after-school care at Willem de Mérodelaan 3 in Uithuizermeeden, right next to primary school CBS De Noordkaap. This makes the transition from school to after-school care literally just a few steps away. Our BSO is for children aged 4 to 13 and has room for up to 15 children. Thanks to our small scale, we truly know every child and can respond to their personal needs and preferences. Our pedagogical staff work closely with the teachers of the adjacent school. This way, we know exactly how the school day went and can adjust our care accordingly. After school, there is plenty of space for both relaxation and challenge. We offer quiet corners to chill with a book or game, as well as challenging activities such as crafts, sports and games in the spacious gym or on the school playground. During study days and school holidays, we are open all day and often organize trips to the playground, the forest, or interesting museums in the region. At Stichting Goud, playful learning is central. We believe that children develop best when they are allowed to discover and choose things themselves. That’s why we work with themes that connect to children’s world of experience, such as nature, technology, art, and culture. We use the school’s facilities for this: the gym, the art room, the library, and of course the outdoor area. This way, children learn new things through play and develop social skills. Parents are more than welcome with us. We believe it’s important that you know how your child experienced the day. That’s why we always have a brief chat at pick-up time. We also regularly organize parent evenings and participation mornings where you can experience firsthand what your child is up to. Together, we ensure that your child feels safe, seen, and challenged at BSO Uithuizermeeden.
