Kiddie is a platform where parents can search and compare childcare. We offer an overview of daycares and after-school care throughout the Netherlands, including reviews, prices, and availability.

You can easily search by postal code or city name. Kiddie shows you all childcare in the area. You can filter by type of care, price and facilities. Create an account to save favorites and contact locations directly.

Yes, Kiddie is completely free for parents. You can search, compare and contact childcare locations unlimitedly without costs.

No, the prices on Kiddie are exactly the same as when you register directly with the childcare provider. Kiddie does not charge parents any surcharge or commission.

Enter your postal code or city name on the homepage and click search. Kiddie shows you all childcare locations in your area, sorted by distance.

A daycare (KDV) is for children aged 0-4 and provides day care during working days. After-school care (BSO) is for children aged 4-12 and provides care before and after school, and during holidays.

On each location page you see the average rating and reviews from other parents. Reviews are imported from Google Maps and can also be posted directly on Kiddie.

On each location page you will find contact details such as phone number, email and website. You can also send a message via Kiddie if you are logged in.

Create an account as a provider via 'For providers' in the menu. Then you can claim your location by verifying that you are the owner or manager.

After claiming your location, you get access to a dashboard where you can adjust photos, description, opening hours, prices and other information.

All locations on Kiddie are registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK). We obtain additional information from websites and Google Maps, until the location is claimed and the owner adds the information themselves.

Childcare allowance is a government contribution to the costs of childcare. The amount depends on your income, the number of hours of care and the number of children.

You can apply for childcare allowance via toeslagen.nl or the Tax Authority app. You need a DigiD for this and information about your childcare, such as the LRK number.

The amount of the allowance depends on your income. With a low income, the government reimburses up to 96% of the costs. Use the calculator on toeslagen.nl for an estimate.
